Teks form adalah materi wajib dalam pelajaran bahasa, baik bahasa Inggris maupun bahasa Indonesia. Teks form bertujuan supaya siswa dapat mengidentifikasi berbagai teks yang disajikan dalam sebuah penulisan.
Kali ini kami ingin sharing teks form bahasa Inggris yang telah kami rangkum menjadi sebuah paper. Untuk paper sendiri sudah dibagikan kepada siswa-siswi akhir SMA/sederajat secara rutin tiap tahunnya sebagai panduan dalam Bimbel persiapan UAS.
1. Prosedure
Tujuan teks procedure adalah memberi petunjuk cara melakukan, menciptakan, atau membuat sesuatu melalui serangkaian tindakan atau langkah.
Polanya : goal (tujuan) – Materials (bahan-bahan yang diperlukan) – Steps (Langkah)

Taking fingerprints
Whenever you touch something, you leave slightly oily fingerprints behind. If these fingerprints are on a shiny surface, they will show up when you cover them with fine powder. In this experiment, you make carbon powder and then use it to take a friend’s fingerprints.Here is what you should do:
- Toast a piece of bread until it turns black around the edges. Remember, don’t let the toast catch fire. The heat in the toaster will make the bread change into carbon
- Scrape the carbon off the toast into a bowl. Then, crush it with the back of a spoon to make a very fine powder.
- Ask a friend to run her fingers thought her hair. Then, ask her to press her fingertips on a white plastic bag.
- Sprinkle carbon powder onto the fingerprints. Shake the excess powder off the bag and cover the prints with sticky tape. Your friend’s fingerprints will show up after you cover them with the fine powder.

This series is based on a true story of a girl named Aya Kite who was stricken by a cruel disease called Spinicocerebeller degeneration. This disease affects Aya’s nerveous system and as the name suggests, it poses a degeneration of her movement, and will eventually affect her mobility, speech and even her ability to eat. The theme of this series is very depressing but the overall tone is very heartwarming. Aya Kite’s diary was made into a best-selling book and the series follows her sufferings as she struggles to find hope, strength and courage to face such a devastating disease.

The amount of water on earth remains constant, but it is continually moving around earth and its atmosphere in a process called the water cycle. It exists as a liquid (water) in seas, rivers, and clouds; it freezes into a solid (ice) as snow and hail; and it also exists as an invisible gas in the air.
When the sun heats up water in rivers, lakes and seas, it changes from a liquid into a gas called water vapour. This process is known as evaporation. As the water vapour rises into the atmosphere, it cools and condenses and forms clouds. As the cloud droplets move around, they collide with each other and grow bigger. Technique of teaching
The silent way is one of effective language teaching techniques. It is pedagogical approach to language teaching based on the premise that the teacher should be as silent as possible in the classroom (about 90% of the time). The learners, then, are encouraged to produce as much language as possible. They have much time both to be exposed to the language and to perform practice.The learning hypothesis behind the silent way is that learning is facilitated if the learners discover or create rather than remembers and repeats what is to be learned. Also, students learn more effectively thought problem solving involving the target language. It views language learning as a creative, problem solving and discovering activity in which the learner is a principal actor rather than a bench-bound listener.

Cars should be banned in the City. As we all know, cars create pollution, and cause a lot of road deaths and other accidents.Firstly, cars, as we all know, contribute to most of the pollution in the world. Cars emit deadly gas that causes illnesses such as bronchitis, lung cancer and ‘triggers’ of asthma. Some of the illnesses are so bad that people can die from them.
Secondly, the city is very busy. Pedestrians wander everywhere and cars commonly hit Pedestrians in the city, which causes them to die. Cars today are our roads biggest killers.
Thirdly, cars are noisy, if you live in the city, you may find it hard to sleep at night, or concentrate on your homework, and especially talk to someone.
In conclusion, cars should be banned in the city for the reasons listed.

Ciri-cirinya:

I joined the traditional dance competition in Jakarta last year. I represented my school. It was my biggest competition. I practiced hard with my teacher for a month. We also prepared the best costume we had.
We only had one day in Jakarta. We went there by plane. We left at 6 a.m. and arrived in Jakarta at 7 a.m. we took a text to take us to the place where the competition was held. It took an hour to get there. There were already some contestants when we arrived. The competition would start in an hour.
First, my teacher and I went to the dressing room. My teacher helped me do the make-up and the costume. We spent almost an hour for the presentation. I told my teacher that I was really nervous. I was not ready for this. However, she told me that everything was alright, and I felt better.

After that, we waited for the announcement of the result. It was 4 p.m. when the judges finished making their final decision. I was so impatient to hear the result. I still could not believe when they called my name as the first winner. I was so happy to be given the trophy. My teacher was also proud of my achievement. Finally, we went back to Yogja in the evening. We were so tired. However, we were satisfied because our effort was not useless.

Most people visiting America from Europe arrive by ship in New York. Some of the visitors and immigrants never go beyond New York. They never see such places as Chicago, Oklahoma and San Francisco. So the city of the New York has people of many different races. It has a large number of foreigners and one hear foreign languages being spoken on all sides.
The early settlers chose for their own island which they could easily defend. New York has grown far beyond the boundaries of this island (Manhattan), and the cost of land on the island is very expensive. For this reason, there are many very tall buildings called skyscrapers.

Long time ago, there lived Ansa. He was the King of Calabar for fifty years. He had a very faithful cat as a housekeeper, and a rat was his house-boy. The King was an obstinate, headstrong man, but was very fond of the cat, who had been in his store for many years.The rat, who was very poor, fell in love with one of the King’s servant girls, but was unable to give her any presents as he had no money.
At last he thought of the king’s store. So, in the night-time, being quite small, he had a little difficulty, having made a hole in the roof, in getting into the store. He than stole corn and native pears, and presented them to his sweetheart.
At the end of the month, when the cat had to render her account of the things in the store to the king, it found that a lot of corn and native pears were missing. The king was very angry at this, and asked the cat for an explanation. However, the cat could not account for the loss until one of her friends told her that the rat had been stealing the corn and giving it to the girl.
When the cat told the king, he called the girl before him and had her flogged. The rat he handed over to the cat to deal with, and dismissed them both from his service. The cat was so angry at this that she killed and ate the rat, and ever since that time whenever a cat sees a rat, she kills and eats it.

- General classification :menerangkan subjek laporan, keterangan, dan klasifikasinya
- Description : yang meliputi bagian, kualitas, kebiasaan atau tingkah laku (makhluk hidup), keguaan (kata benda).
